Top Chef alum Pablo Lamon in the kitchen: wagyu poke nachos, house-smoked fish dip, lobster nuggets with ginger aioli. strong cocktails, a rotating DJ lineup, and an energy that builds as the night goes. happy hour or last stop of the night, it works either way.

The wynwood original earned its crowd and now brickell gets it. spinning trompos, loud cumbias, tacos until midnight. get the cachetadas: flour tortilla with a crispy cheese crust, yogurt-chipotle spread, and your choice of filling. pairs with everything that comes after.

Inside Miami's historic Water Pump House, with original architectural bones, breezy leafy courtyards, and a Turkish-Mediterranean menu that earns the setting. muhammara, taramasalata, adana kebab, whole branzino, Aegean moussaka. the caramelized milk custard for dessert is non-negotiable. we went and we get the hype.

From the team behind Michelin-starred Shingo. 24 seats, Japanese café by day: matcha, single-origin coffee, chicken katsu sandos on fresh-baked milk bread, wagyu filet mignon sandos, bento boxes, and the shio pan in rotating flavors. evening izakaya launching later this year. quietly one of the best openings of 2026.

Clay Conley's second concept follows Buccan to miracle mile. peking duck tacos, miso-marinated black cod, A5 wagyu ribeye, maine lobster sushi roll, crispy rice tuna. the 12-seat sushi counter is the right seat in the house. palm beach has had this since 2012. now it's miami's turn.

French and American bistro in miami beach, right in time for the FIFA World Cup summer. the kind of neighborhood bistro that miami beach can always use more of: proper food, proper wine, no pretense. a spot we've had our eye on and are overdue to get in there.

Chef Manoli Aslanoglou, who trained at Michelin-starred Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons and Arzak, takes over the former Sereia space in the grove. 140 seats, dolmades, saganaki, crispy feta in phyllo with thyme honey, gyro tacos with Black Angus ribeye, whole branzino, and a tableside dessert trolley to close. this is a serious restaurant.

Seven-time James Beard Award nominee Clay Conley's first miami restaurant since leaving Azul at the Mandarin Oriental in 2010. hamachi tiradito, short rib empanadas, shawarma-marinated local swordfish. 4,000 square feet, covered patio, chef's counter overlooking the kitchen. the most anticipated coral gables opening in years and it delivered everything it promised.

Developed with Alain Ducasse's Paris consultancy and built on one conviction: premium Osetra should run through every course as the backbone, not the garnish. minimum 10 grams per dish, served on mother of pearl. chef Carlos Consuegra Graino brings a résumé that includes Daniel Boulud and José Andrés. caviar croquetas, sea bass with champagne sabayon. brickell finally has a room worthy of the ambition.

18,500 square feet inside wynwood's nomad residences, with ten open kitchen stations: handmade pasta, wood-fired dishes, crudo, gelato. the scale alone makes it worth visiting. this is the wynwood restaurant of 2026. big energy, actually good food.

Andrés Carne de Res on Lincoln Road has been a local favorite since it landed. the kind of night that starts as dinner and somehow doesn't end until 2am. May 22 they opened Borondo, the new upstairs lounge, and also launched La Divina Burger next door. the brand has fully planted its flag on Lincoln Road and the block is better for it.

The upscale Greek-Mediterranean concept from Dubai makes its first US appearance in south beach. Cycladic design, an interactive ice market seafood display, and cooking that moves across Greece and the broader Mediterranean. one of the more refined openings of the year so far.

Not a new restaurant, but worth noting. March 11 marked a special celebration unveiling Il Mulino's newly refreshed interior design and debut of a new menu. the acqualina setting is always stunning, and the update gave the room a reason to revisit if you haven't been in a while.

Acclaimed restaurant and specialty market from Guadalajara makes its US debut in wynwood. grand opening February 20 ran 4-8pm with menu tastings, an art showcase, and a rooftop set with live DJ. the kind of Mexican concept that leads with the actual food. the market side is genuinely special. right in the middle of SOBEWFF but worth fitting in.

An Argentinian-inspired steakhouse inside the mayfair hotel, the one coconut grove has been waiting for. finally open after a few delays, and worth the wait. the cuts are serious and so is the wine program. the grove needed something in this lane.

Chef Kevin Kelley's celebrated concept landed in wynwood in january. modern Southern comfort food and a cocktail program that goes well beyond the usual. a genuinely fun room with food that actually delivers. wynwood could use more of this and less of the forgettable-concept-with-a-mural.

The world's best pizzaiolo, Francesco Martucci of the legendary Caserta restaurant I Masanielli (one of Food & Wine's Top 20 Restaurants of 2025), opened his first US restaurant right here in wynwood. this is not a pizza shop. it's a multi-course tasting experience built around the most technically refined pizza you'll eat in your life. opened january 2026. don't sleep on this one.
